Three Rivers Respite
A Note From a Recipient
Dear members of 100 Women Who Care,

This is Heather Alt cofounder of Three Rivers Respite. We are beyond grateful and so honored to receive your generous donation!

Shortly after we were nominated and chosen, we received final drawings of our vision for a clubhouse and cabins for camp. Your generous donation will go towards these buildings! Once these buildings are complete, it will make camp run much smoother; we won’t have to set up and break down tents, we will have an inside facility in case of rainy or stormy weather and more bathrooms! We have been operating for four years now and camp continues to grow and this will help with the growth even more.

We are so very grateful and appreciative of how much you care for children in foster care in the Lowcountry. Thank you for supporting them in this way. We look forward to sharing more updates with you!

A Note From a Recipient
Dear Sue, Germaine, and all the incredible women of 100 Women Who Care Charleston,

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this extraordinary honor and opportunity. I am truly overwhelmed with gratitude. Receiving the notification from Grapevine left me beyond words, not just because of the support itself, but because of what it means for the Autistic and Neurodivergent community.

Thank you for believing in this mission, for seeing the need, and for choosing Just Bee as your first recipient serving the Autistic community. I am deeply humbled and honored to represent 100 Women Who Care Charleston in this meaningful way.

I’m grateful to share that the funds have been received, and I promise they will be used with purpose, care, and intention. This support will help us change the culture within our tri-county elementary schools, creating environments rooted in love, acceptance, and understanding. Just Bee My Friend will help build a world where every child can simply"Just Bee."

Thank you again for your trust, your generosity, and your belief in this work. Your impact will reach countless families, children, and educators, and I am forever grateful.

With heartfelt appreciation,

Children's Cancer Partners
A Note From a Recipient
Dear Sue, Germaine, Joan, and members of the Charleston Chapter of 100 Women Who Care,

Thank you for entrusting Children's Cancer Partners with your grant of $500.00 for the Charleston Childhood Cancer Safety Net to help ensure children in Charleston County receive immediate and comprehensive support throughout their cancer journey.
Because of your support, families can access critical, day-to-day assistance that makes a meaningful difference during their child's cancer treatment. Grant funding helps provide gas and meal reimbursements for long trips to and from lifesaving appointments, safe lodging when families must travel far from home, and connections to other families walking the same journey.

Your generosity ensures children can get to treatment without added barriers, parents can remain by their child's side without choosing between work and care, and families feel supported by a community that understands what they are facing. This grant is helping strengthen a local safety net that families can rely on during one of the most difficult times in their lives.
We invite you to stay connected with Children's Cancer Partners by following us on social media, where we share updates, family stories, and real examples of your impact in action. We look forward to sharing outcomes and continued impact made possible through your partnership.

Thank you for standing with Charleston families when they need it most.

Sincerely,
Amy Novak

Cuisine Rescue Inc.
A Note From a Recipient
Ladies, We're overwhelmed by your generosity and sincerely thank you for your $500 donation to Cuisine Rescue.

We rescued 75,000 pounds this year--a 40% increase over 2023's total--and want to replicate that growth next year. Your donation will help us to pursue that goal and, more importantly, provide leftover food to more of the Charleston-area's hungry population. Thank you again.

Sincerely,
Chuck Smiley, Executive Director of Cuisine Rescue
Nonprofits selected to receive the collective donation are invited back to share how the funds will be used, giving members a clear view of the difference their donations make.

This is one of the most powerful parts of the model: members do not just give. They learn, connect, and see the impact.
