Giving Back Shouldn’t Be Complicated.

100 Women Who Care Charleston was created around one simple idea: when women come together, small individual gifts can create a powerful collective impact.

Our model is simple:

100 women x 1 hour x $100 = $10,000+ in local impact.

Become a Member

Each member commits to donating $100 per quarter to support the nonprofit selected by the group’s vote. Members are also encouraged—and always welcome—to give more if they feel inspired to further support the organizations making an impact in our community.

Nominate a Local Nonprofit

Any active donating member can nominate a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving the Charleston tri-county area. Three nominated organizations are randomly selected to be presented at each meeting.

Nominate a Nonprofit

Vote and Give

Members vote by secret ballot. The nonprofit with the most votes receives the collective donation. Each member then donates $100 through Grapevine, which provides a tax receipt and sends donations directly to the selected organization.

Attend Quarterly Meetings

We meet four times a year — in January, April, July, and October. Meetings include registration and social time, nonprofit presentations, voting, and the announcement of the selected organization.
